Solar Broker
Our services as a solar broker are targeted to business and property owners of commercial and industrial buildings that desire a “one stop shop” in considering a solar installation. With our national network of solar companies including installers (we have 700 plus and building to 2,000 in our database) and suppliers, in addition to our ability to use proprietary software to assess pricing on any rooftop in the US, we provide the following combination of services:
- Pricing quote that includes detailed local analysis of utility rates, state and county RECs or subsidies or other local factors, using a state of the art software application and Google Earth technology to accurately assess the solar project’s economics. Completion of this form by the property owner will obtain a FREE quote and analysis
- Depending on the client’s business and potentially how they promote themselves as a sustainable business or otherwise in their marketing efforts, they may prefer US made panels and materials versus lower cost imports. As part of our report to the client, we will provide recommendations on the materials and pricing options for materials and panels, including warranty information, to consider branded panels such as SunTech, Sharp or Mitsubishi, or low cost imported panel options
- As a solar broker, once the analysis referenced above is provided we would then RFQ/RFP to obtain bids from at least three installers and designers that would conduct site analysis and provide three separate proposals on behalf of our client. In obtaining competitive bidding, we are able to provide the best pricing to the client, which more than pays for our fees.
